I thought it taught the reader that treasured old books have unbelievable merit! Most readers will grow in history and knowledge regarding the Plantin; Plantin Polyglot Bible; Peshawar Manuscript. I loved the reality of mental health issues in the book. As a retired ER and psych nurse this was so interesting to me. Also, this book gives the reader a look at the people who work in this particular library. I saw the latter part of the book as a tribute to libraries. I love going to the library–and have all my life. This is a book worth purchasing for the library.
